For METRO C SCPA, safety is fundamental. Construction and shipbuilding activities are generally considered to be high risk. Poor lighting conditions, tight spaces and chemicals make our on site work particularly difficult in terms of work conditions and safety. We always work in contact with paint and other potentially dangerous chemicals, as the work concerns cleaning, painting and drilling. This is why we are not happy with 100% protection – we aim for 200% safety. Therefore, we wear Chemfor chemical protective suits over the workwear. These are SIR protective devices that prevent contact with harmful liquids. The strength of this product is certainly the high level performance in terms of protection and therefore, safety for the wearer. Without forgetting the aspect of comfort, which tend to be underestimated in these conditions.
