They contain products such as harnesses, retractable devices, energy absorbers, positioning systems, pre-assembled kits for works at a height and various accessories. All this to offer maximum customisation of your fall arrest system.
HARNESSES
The harnesses are made entirely of polyester which, thanks to the lower elongation properties compared to other materials, allow the worker to remain in absolute safety, without the risk of slipping out.
ENERGY ABSORBERS
The energy absorber consists of 44 mm wide webbing, fully folded and encased in a plastic casing. In the event of a fall, the webbing inside the casing stretches automatically thereby reducing the impact force transmitted to the user to less than 6 kn. Conforms to standard EN 355. SIR offers a wide range of energy absorbing webbings and lanyards, in varying lengths and with different hooks at the ends.
MOBILE LIFE LINE
When assembling and disassembling scaffolding, when laying the roofs of buildings or in other jobs where railing is temporarily missing, the use of life lines is essential. Using the anchor on two fixed points at a maximum distance of 20 m, a life line makes normal working operations possible by connecting up to two workers, equipped with safety harnesses, who freely slide along the webbing by means of a lanyard with snap hook.
KIT ROPE ACCESS IN CONFINED SPACE
Kit to access the work site when collective protections cannot be used (i.e. lifelines, protective nets, baskets, guardrails, scaffolding, etc.), when working on overhanging structures or rock, when the access situations or worksites do not allow for external equipment (baskets, mobile cranes etc.) to be used and where it is not practical to set up collective protection. The worker at height accesses the site with ropes from the top (safer and simpler to set up, this is the technique of choice), or from below. Once the leader has installed all the progression and safety ropes, the other workers can safely climb up these ropes. The kit can also be used for work done in confined spaces, when there is no means of autonomous progression. Confined spaces are generally accessed from the top. The worker's safety is ensured by a reversible hauling system, which is independent and reliable, allowing for quick evacuation in case of an accident. Someone working in this type of environment must have assistance.
