Standard EN 208 applies to eye protectors used during laser adjustment. These are filters and eye protectors used for adjustment work on lasers and laser systems where dangerous radiation is present in the visible spectral range from 400 nm to 700 nm. The filters specified in the standard reduce these radiations to the values defined for class 2 lasers.
