The Parat 5510 escape hood assures 15 minutes of actual protection against toxic gas, dust, vapours, filtering out even the feared,odourless “carbon monoxide”. The Parat 5510 hood assures eye and airways protection, ensuring a fast and safe escape even in smoke filled areas. It is also suitable for non-specialist personnel and for individuals wearing prescription glasses. The Parat 5510 is constructed in high resistance, high visibility, self-extinguishing fabric that withstands fire exposure with temperature exceeding 1000°C. It is fitted with a CO P2 filter, protecting against gases that develop in presence of a fire (chlorine, hydrochloric acid, nitrogen monoxide, sulphur dioxide).
